I am playing along with Sarah from Knitting the Wind, and sharing the everyday around me from my couch. Please excuse my blurry photography skills.

Thanks Sarah, as Uni students we used to love playing Risk with a friend of ours but we didn’t own a set, so I made the pieces out of Fimo (hardening modelling clay) and an old set of cards, and my dh,( at the time my boyfriend) burned the board markings on a piece of ply and watercoloured and sealed it. I can’t believe how well it has stood the test of time, and now our children play it with us!
